Peter Mokaba Stadium (Polokwane)

Polokwane (Pietersburg) is the northern most venue for the 2010 World Cup. The capital of Limpopo with excellent accommodation, fine weather and friendly population

makes it an ideal place as a getaway destination. There are plenty of activities to keep visitors busy including a crocodile farm, shopping centres, game reserves and sanctuaries as well as various museums covering the history of the region.

The current stadium has just one main stand and 3 grass banks which will be upgraded in preparation for the tournament. Eventually, the capacity will be 40,000.
