Loftus Versfeld Stadium (Pretoria)

The South
African capital is a largely forgotten city but it has many
embassies based here. Despite its close location to Johannesburg,
Pretoria is a very different city. The |
main streets are wide
enough for an ox-drawn cart to turn round and are lined with Jacaranda
trees with their beautiful purple flowers. Pretoria is also the starting
point for the world famous Blue Train on its 27 hour journey down to
Cape Town.
The existing
stadium will undergo a facelift with improvements to facilities such as
floodlights and turnstiles. This venue will have a capacity of 53,000. |
