The 2010 World Cup Final will be held in JohannesburgThe cosmopolitan city of Johannesburg (or Joburg) for short is an ideal base to visit the rest of South Africa. However, make sure you find time to explore Joburg including the popular guided tour of Soweto where you can visit the house where Nelson Mandela grew up.

A lot of development and refurbishment is scheduled to take place to bring the stadia up to standard for the tournament. The opening match and final will be played at Soccer City along with 5 first round matches, a second round game and a quarter final.
