Garden Route in the Western Cape, South Africa

Port Elizabeth is located on the western coast in the Garden Route which runs for 200 miles along the coast. Also known simply as 'PE', it is recorded as South Africa's 2nd oldest city. The economy is booming but the town still has a laid back feel about it.

A new 48,000 seater stadium was constructed for the 2010 World Cup and the 5 tier sports venue will overlook the North End Lake in the heart of the city.
