Cape Towns Green Point Stadium will host a number of matches during the 2010 World Cup

On the southern tip of Africa where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans met is the beautiful city of Cape Town.

The stunning Table Mountain is the iconic symbol of Cape Town and there is plenty to see and do with the Victoria and Albert Waterfront proving very popular with visitors. Robben Island was the prison home of former President Nelson Mandela for many years. Cape Town is also considered one of the best places in the world to watch Whales (mainly Aug – Nov).

Green Point Stadium has a capacity of around 68,000.
